What we did

Solo Italia Travel designed and managed a 12-day educational journey across Italy for 80 students and faculty members from Gann Academy.

The program combined cultural immersion, Jewish heritage, academic enrichment, outdoor experiences, and meaningful encounters with local communities.

Highlights included:

  • Nature excursions, hiking, swimming, and team-building activities at Lake Maggiore and Lake Nemi
  • Private guided visits to the Jewish Ghettos, synagogues, and Jewish heritage sites of Venice, Ferrara, Pisa, Siena, and Rome
  • Cultural exchange experiences with local Jewish communities throughout Italy
  • Two days of activities and interaction with the Jewish community in Milan
  • Special visit to the Jewish School of Rome, allowing students to meet local peers and build meaningful connections
  • Exclusive visit to a traditional Murano glassmaking workshop
  • Comprehensive kosher dining services throughout the entire journey
  • Dedicated security personnel accompanying the group 24 hours a day
  • Complete project management including transportation, accommodations, admissions, guides, synagogue visits, and full on-site assistance
